Womens Leather Barrel Bag - Little Dorrit

This bag I received last year but the website would not post my review back then. There were multiple problems with the bag with poor and uneven stitching. The inside cloth lining is already sagging within the first few weeks. The buckles that clip to the bag are poor quality and are hard to open. I wish I never bought this. It’s been sitting in my closet for over a year untouched.

I learned about this brand accidentally through just googling for a nice barrel bag. I discovered the Little Dorrit and just *fell in love* with the red.

Received it a little while ago and, I must say, I'm in LOVE! The leather is soft and supple, while still retaining a sense of thickness, sturdiness, and shape. It came in a beautiful black box (gorgeous opening experience!) and pressed down, which alarmed me at first... but it straightened it out with ease and I really got a feel for the sturdiness of the leather. No creases! After a while in shipping! It also came with a personally signed quality assurance check with name, and a note on how it had been treated with their brand of balsam right before shipping. It all felt so personal and luxurious.

It is a gorgeous, vibrant, rich colour (glossy rather than matte, for those interested, but not super glossy... the slight shine on the pictures online are very accurate). I'm sure it'll scratch and develop a patina, and the notes by the company said to expect that, alongside that their bags are made to wear like that, so I feel quite reassured. It smells great, feels great, and fits EVERYTHING while not feeling overly full. I feel both refined and adorable when wearing it--somehow!

I am just so impressed by this brand and had to write about it. Utterly in love, and I'm now in the process of checking out all their other items now! Absolutely gorgeous.

This bag is absolutely beautiful! It is exactly as pictured on the website. I got it in the color red; it’s a perfect shade of red, not too bright, and not too deep. The barrel bag style in itself is classy, but what makes this bag so classy is the leather and craftsmanship. It has a certain level of gravitas about it. The zipper is very smooth, easy to open and close. The stitching is impeccable. The hardware is very nice. The opening of the bag is wide, so it’s very easy to get in and out of.

The interior cotton lining of the bag is high quality as well; everything about the bag feels thick and sturdy. The two slip pockets fit an iPhone XS Max with a case. I will say though, be careful of what you put in the slip and zip pockets (sharp or bulky items) if you don’t want the leather to stretch. Also, the bag is not heavy, even after putting my things in it.

The bag was very well packaged, it came in a very nice black box. The authenticity card came with a wax seal, I thought that was such an authentic and unique touch. You can tell the company put a lot of thought into the customer experience, not just in the bag itself, but also how it is presented. As a side note, my husband was really impressed with the quality of the bag as well.

The shipping to Canada was extremely fast, it came two days earlier than the tracking said.

Overall, I am so pleased with my purchase and I look forward to using this bag for years to come :)

I bought the bag as a surprise gift for my sister, knowing she's very picky with these things and has quite the sophisticated tastes. I'm happy to say that not only was she very pleased with the packaging and overall quality of the bag, she loved the design so much that it has since become her main work bag. So, well done, Time Resistance team. Now, I will have to get a bag for myself.

Excellent craftsmanship. Superb quality. Leather is the best. Much thought and care with the design. care given with the design. Have paid much more for purses of lesser quality. My wife loves the purse.

I have the red & green bags. They're beautiful & excellent quality. So nice, I don't want to use them. The customer care is incredible. I would highly recommend Timeresistance products. Best I've seen out there.

Collected the bag today.
While I was impressed with the quality of the bag; I am perplexed as to the longer strap as there are no claps on either side of the bag to use the longer strap.
A design improvement would be ridged leather on the base to prevent it from sinking in as the leather is quite thin.

Delivery time was good. No damage. Looks super cute! Meant to have a time resistant look.

The bag is of good quality, colors are rich, very cute. The bag was shipped empty, arrived deformed. Hopefully they will fix that.

Incredible craftsmanship, the details are exquisite. I purchased the bag in green and the colour is stunning, the design is classic and timeless, and the colour give a twist of original opulence whilst still being a discreet and elegant piece. The mell of the natural vegetable dye is unreal. The bag came with a dust bag and in a beautiful box, fantastic presentation. Well done Time Resistance!

So far I love my bag. The leather and stitching seems to be good quality. However the packaging is not great. The packaging and customer experience should match the price and it doesn’t at this time. Hopefully the company will improve this as I can see I am not the first to mention this feedback.

As always from the company Time Resistance, the bag is beautiful, well crafted from top quality leather.
My only issue is the way that the bag was squashed into its box, which resulted in the bag being distorted when t opened it.
Perhaps a revision of the packaging would be useful.

Have received my bag in good timing, just ready to travel in my caravan and needed something practical. Extremely happy. Want them all in every colour now.

The bag itself is stunning and I was very surprised at how fast I received it.

I am, however, disappointed in how it was packaged. It was stuffed into the box and squished down to fit. There was no stuffing to keep the bag’s shape so it is a bit distorted right now. Hopefully it will recover in a few days. Also, the shoulder strap was just thrown into the bag; they could have at least put a rubber band around it. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the bag because the leather is so beautiful and the workmanship is quality. The company just needs to step up their game when it comes to packaging.

The bag arrived quickly and in excellent condition. The colour is intense and the interior is more spatious that it seems at a first glance.
I am very happy with my purchase.
